Online Scottish Whiskey Tasting - Posted: June 12, 2008
On June 18th at 20.00(GMT)/3:00pm(EST) Laphroaig Distillery (www.laphroaig.com/live) will be broadcasting a live whiskey tasting on the internet, direct from their distillery on the Isle of Islay in the Scottish Hebrides Islands!
Robert Hicks (master blender) will be joined by Martine Nouet, one of the World’s leading authorities on single malts for a very special tasting event. Tastings will include Laphroaig’s 10 Years Old, Laphroaig Quarter Cask, a new expression - Laphroaig Triple Wood, Robert Hick’s latest “friends” creation - Cairdeas, and a very special limited edition 30 Year Old Cairdeas.
The 45 minute live event will include some prize competitions as well. You can send in your questions before the evening by posting them on the website and every question read out will win a prize.
